In-store: Device fails to scan a QR code/QR tag

If the device is trying to scan a QR tag and fails (camera stays on) while provisioning a device with a QR code, enrolling a device using a QR code, or using a QR tag for the guaranteed planogram feature, it could be for one of the following reasons:

  • No QR code available - double-check that your QR code is positioned within view of the device camera
  • The device camera can’t focus/read the QR code - confirm that the device camera can focus by tapping the screen or moving the device around until the QR code is centred on the screen
  • The QR code is not valid/correct - make sure you are using a correct enrollment code or QR tag (sticker)
