In-store: Unable to initialize the camera

Problem:

You cannot scan a QR tag or a QR code using the Display 4 app because you see a black screen instead of a camera and you receive the error message: 

"Unable to initialize the camera. Please wait for 30 seconds and try again."

Solution:

  1. Check if all app updates are applied on the device and try again
  2. Restart the device and try again
  3. Factory reset the device and try again
  4. If all of the above fails, your device most likely does not support this functionality; 
  5. Contact support@smartcircle.net to check if there are any other workarounds for the specific model
