SmartCircle Play360 - Installation Guide

The SmartCircle Play360 are pre-installed with the SmartCircle App and the only requirement is to connect the box to the WiFi and enter an enrollment code specific to the store you are in.

  • You will need the remote control for the TV you are installing this box onto
  • It is sometimes easier to perform the installation of the SmartCircle Box on a separate screen as some of the TVs are difficult to access and the setup can be started on a different screen.

  1. Connect the box to the power and the HDMI port
  2. After the Box has booted up, locate the blue remote control and click on the top right button to enter mouse mode, it will say on the screen “enter the mouse mode”
  3. Use the cursor to select the three dots top right corner of the screen and select Wifi settings
  4. Connect the box to your store wifi
  5. Now click the back button on the remote, it will take you back to the original SmartCircle screen.
  6. Click on the “Enroll this device” button at the bottom centre of the screen
  7. Enter your store's unique 10-digit code and click Validate - Code at the top of the page.
  8. If you have multiple screens, select the screen in the position box. *Please note each screen is defined as Internal or External. Internal is a TV which is viewed inside the store and External is a TV which is viewed from outside the store.*
  9. Click Assign. You have now completed the setup of the box and the media should start playing automatically.

Connecting to the TV

  1. Locate the HDMI 1 socket, remove any USB stick connected
  2. Plug in the TV box to the TV.
  3. You will also need to rotate the screen to Landscape (even though the screens are Portrait). This is done via the remote control. If it asks you to setup Samsung Magic info just try to ignore that, no need to connect to wifi also
  4. Once the campaign is displayed make sure it is playing the right way up.

If the video is playing upside down please contact support@smartcircle.net quoting your store name and the screen which isn’t playing correctly.
