Manager: Key entered is not valid

If you are entering your Manager Key and receive the following message “Activation Error. Please try again, the manager key entered is invalid.” make sure of the following.

  • Confirm you have entered the alphanumeric Manager Key correctly.
  • Switch the Device Manager to the Location stated in the Access Request Email (received during the original setup of the SmartCircle Manager).

This happens when the manager kay that you have entered is not correct or the key has expired.

Please note that each manager key can only be validated three times. Once all validations are used up you need to get a new Manager Key.
