Features - Presenter app for iOS devices

The following features are specific to iOS devices running the Presenter app

• Campaigns can play on the devices in idle, touch and lift state
• Price templates and playlists are supported.
• Price can be controlled remotely from head office.
• Alarm activates on the device when it loses a power connection with options to customize alarm delay
• Sound on alarm can be enabled remotely
• Sending email alerts are available
• Set unlock PIN is available as remote configuration
• Idle timeout setting can be adjusted remotely

Limitations

The iOS operating system is very restrictive and does not allow for some features to function on it. The operating system limitations do not allow for development of an app that takes full control over the devices so Guided access is highly recommended to protect the device from end user changes.

• Exit to home screen through a campaign is not avaialbe, because the OS does not allow for the app to return to foreground without human interaction.
• Custom WiFi connection is not supported
• Screen brightness cannot be controlled remotely
• Smart Brightness control is not available
• Protection of settings and app store are not available
• Working hours do not apply because we cannot turn off and on the screen due to OS limitations
