Features - Display (Android) general list of features

The following features are specific to Android devices that were provisioned using a QR code.

• Quick and easy install on Android devices by just scanning a QR code
• Follow your set planogram by provisioning and auto enrolling your Android using a QR code
• Toast messages will be visible during provisioning so you know what is happening with your device
• Play store is not accessible without a Google account
• Adding a Google account to the device is not possible without disarming the device
• Setting up Tethering & a portable hotspot is not possible without disarming the device
• Setting up VPN is not possible without disarming the device
• Enabling developer options is not possible without disarming the device
• Factory reset is not possible without disarming the device
• Installation of apps from unknown sources is not possible without disarming the device
• Changing the wallpaper is not possible without disarming the device
• Device can be disarmed by tapping on the bottom right of the screen 5 times and entering a security PIN
• Desired apps can be installed on devices  and Display app updates can be pushed to the device
• The device automatically uninstalls any apps that have been installed while it was armed
• The device automatically restarts every 24 hours (only during non working hours) to ensure the system is running smoothly

The following features are specific to Android devices that were setup using regular installation via apk file or downloaded from Play store

• Custom WiFi connection can be setup from configuration page for the devices to connect to automatically
• Screen brightness can be controlled to extend the life of your display devices
• Smart brightness automatically turns the screen on and off depending on the device battery level
• Alarm activates on the device when it loses a power connection with options to customize alarm delay
• Alarm activates on restart of the device when any of the other alarms are set to ON
• When the device is in alarm, the applications on the device are not accessible
• The alarm will stay On until it is deactivated, even if the device is turned off or restarted
• The WiFi connection turns on automatically if it gets turned off manually by a customer
• Device protection keeps users from accessing the device Settings and the Play Store and any other app that may be required upon customer request
• Set work hours for your location to dim or turn off the screens when your store is closed
