There are many options that can be controlled remotely from the Location Configuration section on data.smartcircle.net
Set unlock PIN: Use PIN Code to unlock device when in alarm/campaign mode.
Send email alerts: Emails are sent out within a set frequency (in minutes) to the set email addresses when the device is in alarm/notification mode. Type email addresses separated by a coma in the “Emails to be alerted” text field
Alarm on power loss: The device will go into alarm if there is a power loss to the device. This alarm is only activated if the device both loses power and register an interaction, such as lift or touch. The phone keeps looking for an alarm on interaction if power is off.
Smart power monitoring: Screen locks and gives a timed warning to return the Device to the charging mount.
Alarm on headphones removal: Alarm/notification activates when headphones are removed.
Sound on alarm: When alarm/notification is activated the device will sound.
Idle timeout (in sec): Period of time in seconds it takes for the device to return to displaying idle state media after an interaction.
Device protection: Turn on to protect the device settings or Google Play store so they cannot be accessed without the security PIN.
Screen brightness (%): Set the screen brightness automatically for all screens when campaign is on foreground.
Wiper service: Enable it so the device is prepared for the next customer interaction by removing changes that were added by previous customers such as taken photos and videos, changed wallpaper or added calendar events
Screen dim: Follow the display settings and dim or turn off media based on the hardware.
Screen OFF: Use this function to either turn off the screen when the device is out of work time, dim the screen to the lowest brightness, or do nothing and leave the campaign playing.
Screen dim/off offset: time offset in minutes that controls when the devices dim or turn off their displays and respectively turn on the displays in relation to the working hours of the store.
Custom WiFi connection:SSID name and password can be entered so android devices can stay connected to the network.A custom connection with specific DNS can be created in order to block inappropriate content and so no other devices can use it. API frequency worktime (min): the interval in minutes at which the devices upload data to the server and check for updates during operational hours of the store.
API frequency heartbeat(min): the interval in minutes at which the devices report their status.
API frequency out of worktime (min): the interval in minutes at which the devices upload data to the server and check for updates during non-operational hours of the store.
Smart brightness control: allows for automatic screen brightness changes dependent on the battery level. The lower the battery gets the lower the brightness. The screen turns off at 20% battery level.
Overlay button: enable if you want to see an overlay button on the home screen of Display app on Andorid devices. It is to be used if the price template is developed to allow for this feature. When the button is used, it is to open a price page for the device.
Flash during intro video: the flash of the android device can be activated during sync fideo and can either stay on or flash depending on the selected option.
Synchronized video frequency (min): the interval in minutes at which intro video will be displayed.
Disable visuals: campaigns will not play on android devices when this feature is enabled. Use it when customer wants to collect metrics but not see any campagins.
