How to fix freezing or lagging video on TV Screens that is part of a playlist campaign using Native Video Player
Problem
I experience issues with freezing or lagging videos that are part of a playlists campaign on TV screens
Solution
- Create a new Remote DS campaign with the same content
- Under What tab change the Native Video Player option to YES
Use of "Native Video Player": NO | Use of "Native Video Player": YES |
Default option – Will display all videos that are part of the playlist in the web view |
Will display all videos that are part of the playlist in Android’s native player |
pros: It will work with synchronized video, and transitions between elements will be smoother. |
pros: Videos will play without freezing or delay |
cons: Some TV boxes don’t handle videos well in the web view, and parts of the content may freeze. |
cons: - Conflicts may occur with synchronized video |
