User Guide - How to turn off/deactivate an alarm

The following steps will guide you to deactivate the alarm directly on the device.

    When an alarm is triggered, the screen changes to the default alarm screen, and it locks the device to prevent further usage. 

    The only way to return the device to its normal functioning is by deactivating the alarm and arming SmartCircle again.

    Steps: 

    1. Physically locate the display that is in alarm and ensure that it has not been tampered with or stolen.
    2. Deactivate the alarm 
      1. Tap 5 times on the right-bottom corner of the screen.
      2. Enter the PIN codeDeactivate the alarm.

    3. Once the alarm has stopped, arm the device again.
    4. To do so, open SmartCircle Display and tap the Play button (located at the right-top corner of the app).

    After this, the campaign will start running shortly. 

    The time that it takes to download the campaign depends on it's size and your internet connection.

    Alternative ways to deactivate the alarm

    Deactivate an alarm (option 1): 

    • As shown in above steps : tap the bottom right of the screen 5 times in quick succession, then enter the four-digit security PIN.*

    Deactivate an alarm (option 2): 

    • Touch all four corners of the screen, clockwise, starting with the top left and ending with the bottom left, then enter the four-digit security PIN.

    Deactivate an alarm (option 3):

    • Press the volume up and down buttons consecutively 5 times, then enter the four-digit security PIN.*

    * Available only for Android devices.
