Realme - Troubleshooting steps to stop killing background apps

🛠️ 1. Increase Screen Timeout

• Open Settings.

• Go to Display & brightness (or just Display).

• Tap Sleep or Auto screen off.

• Select the longest option available (e.g., Never, if available).

🔋 2. Disable Battery Optimization for the Display4 App

• Open Settings.

• Go to Battery > More battery settings or App battery management.

• Find and select Display4.

• Choose Don’t optimize or Allow background activity / Run in background.

🔒 3. Adjust Auto-Lock Settings (Optional)

• Go to Settings > Security > Screen lock.

• If you want to keep the lock enabled, adjust Lock after screen turns off to a longer time.

⚙️ 4. Keep Screen On While Charging (Developer Options)

• Go to Settings > About phone.

• Tap Build number 7 times to enable Developer options.

• Then go to Settings > System settings > Developer options.

• Enable Stay awake – this keeps the screen on while the device is charging.
