User Guide - SmartCircle Basic installation (Android)

This guide will help you install SmartCircle apps by sideloading from https://sensormedia.com/apps


Only follow this method if is not possible to proceed with the QR installation. 

 

It is possible to download the app from Google Play Store: (Due to Google regulations, these versions may be limited in functionality). We recommend to proceed with sideloading. Follow the steps below.


Steps:  

  1. From the Android device go to Settings > Security  and enable Unknown sources
  2. Open the browser on the device and navigate to: https://smartcircle.net/apps/
  3. Download SmartCircle RM and SmartCircle Display apps
  4. Open the SmartCircle RM app to finish the installation. You will see a permission card, enable that permission and then click Activate. 
  5. Open the SmartCirlce Display app.
  6. First, you will see a list of Terms and Conditions. Scroll down and tap accept.
  7. Later, you will see a list of Cards. Those cards are permissions that have to be granted in order to allow SmartCircle's full functionalities.

Each card will immediately disappear after they are enabled.
